Wave Strike on the Breton Coast

PLAGE DE BARA, QUIBERON, BRITTANY, FRANCE

A wave breaks hard against the rock and turns to spray in a single burst. The frame is built on contrast: the dark mass of granite drives in from the right, while the open water holds back at left. The impact lands low and central, and the monochrome treatment strips the scene to force, texture, and timing. This is Plage de Bara on the Quiberon peninsula, on Brittany’s exposed Atlantic edge. The shoreline gives the image its scale; the sea supplies the moment. A brief collision, held for a fraction of a second.
